Even though the rack has a small 17 1/2" x 21 1/2" x 9 1/2" inch foot-print, the rack lets you dry up to 20 full size dinner plates plus cups or glasses. The dowels in the back of the rack are removable so you can rearrange them to accommodate large or unusually shaped dishes.
